The aim of this research was to gather information about elementary school students' positive experiences in digital environment by the means of qualitative research method. The research included nine boys and 10 girls 11 to 14 years of age and grades 5 to 8. Participants answered the questions from a semi-structured interview, which was designed for the purposes of this research paper. The results reflect students' opinion and their experiences with using the Internet. Elementary school students' regard Internet as something positive because of learning possibilites, quick information search, simple communication and entertainment. Furthermore, they regard social network sites as positive because they enable social interaction, develop knowledge and creativity, and entertain, while online games expand the social circle and deepen the knowledge. Elementary school students' pointed out how they experienced positive emotions through online communication and through success in online games. Also, using the Internet enabled the knowledge useful in the process of education, mother tongue knowledge and foreign language knowledge, as well as knowledge about their own personal interests. Lastly, because of the corona virus pandemic, this research aimed to find out about positive Internet experience related to education. The elementary school students stated that the positive sides of online education were the following: better organisation, interesting tasks, more opportunities for independent work and development of independence, mutual help and cooperation, better grades, as well as learning about the Internet and its content.
