This research was conducted for the purpose of gathering positive online experiences of high school students. The paper tries to find out what young people perceive as positive on the Internet, to collect their positive experiences on the Internet, as well as the positive experiences they had on the Internet during the SARS-CoV-2 virus pandemic in the context of distance learning. The study involved 9 male and 10 female high school students ages 16 to 19 years. For the purposes of the research, a semi-structured interview was constructed that was conducted individually with each participant live or via video call. The results of the qualitative analysis showed that the participants perceived the availability of content on the Internet as generally positive. On social networks, they perceive simple communication as positive as well as communication with faraway people, while in playing video games on the Internet, they perceive the possibility of improving skills and gaining new acquaintances and fun as positive. Participants had the following positive experiences on the Internet: making contact and maintaining relationships via the Internet, success in online games, in testing knowledge and achieving school success with the help of the Internet. Participants also gained knowledge through the Internet that they valued as positive. It is related to school, leisure activities and knowledge of foreign languages. Positive experiences of high school students who participated in this research during distance learning are the acquisition of new skills, the availability of materials during such classes and the possibility of independent organization of their time. The results of this research can be used to develop a program to educate students about the proper use of the Internet, to better understand its use, and for further research on the Internet and its positive aspects.
