Abstract
Cilj istraživanja bio je ispitati doprinos sociodemografskih podataka (spol, dob, materijalni status), opće anksioznosti, osjećaja povezanosti s prirodom i proekoloških ponašanja u objašnjavanju anksioznosti zbog klimatskih promjena. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo ukupno N= 458 sudionika (249 muškaraca i 209 žena) u dobi od 18 do 44 godina koji trenutno imaju status studenta. Sudionici su popunjavali Upitnik sociodemografskih podataka konstruiran za potrebe ovog istraživanja, Skalu anksioznosti zbog klimatskih promjena (Clayton i Karazsia, 2020), Skalu povezanosti s prirodom - skraćena verzija (Nisbet i Zelenski, 2013), Skalu anksioznosti (Lovibond i Lovibond, 1995) te Upitnik proaktivnog ekološkog ponašanja (Huang, 2016). Rezultati korelacijske analize pokazuju da postoji statistički značajna pozitivna povezanost opće anksioznosti, povezanosti s prirodom i proaktivnog ekološkog ponašanja s anksioznosti zbog klimatskih promjena. Provedena hijerarhijska regresijska analiza pokazala je da se pomoću opće anksioznosti i povezanost s prirodom može objasniti 15.5% varijance anksioznosti zbog klimatskih promjena.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this study was to examine relations between sociodemographic factors (gender, age, material status), general anxiety, nature relatedness and proactive environmental behaviors with climate change anxiety. A total of N = 458 participants (249 male and 209 female) aged 18 to 44 who are currently students completed Sociodemographic Data Questionnaire constructed for the purposes of this research, the Climate Change Anxiety Scale (Clayton and Karaszia, 2020), the Nature Relatedness Scale - shortened version (Nisbet and Zelenski, 2013), the Anxiety Scale (Lovibond and Lovibond, 1995) and Proactive Environmental Behavior Questionnaire (Huang, 2016). The results of the correlation analysis show that there is a statistically significant positive relationship between general anxiety, nature relatedness and proactive environmental behavior with climate anxiety. The conducted hierarchical regression analysis showed that 15.5% of the variance of climate change anxiety can be explained by general anxiety and nature relatedness.
