Abstract (english) | Esthetics of Damir Miloš's prose' is a paper researching Miloš's text. It is focused on characteristics which arise from his whole literal work, and, primarily, on elements giving it a different, specific and respectable note within the corpus of modern croatian literature. Damir Miloš is an author with a long history of literal preoccupations and he hasn't, at least in a greater way, changed a view inside his texts since middle 80's of the last century. Considering this, it is extremely important to define which are these elements giving his work a different and, in mod-ern croatian prose, somewhat marginalized position. Also, the paper researches which are the ways of incorporating these elements into Miloš's texts and what is meant to achieve by using them. Miloš's work can be read by children and also by, in a way different, adults. This makes him an interesting textual appearance at the end of the 20th and beginning of the 21th century, since he combines his specific, authentic and original style with postmodern poetics. The paper shows what Miloš's narrative woods actually consist of, and which are the ways of surviving them if you find yourself playing a role of a critic subject trying to find out if small is closer than far or, for example, if hard is closer than big. As Miloš himself would say, we are exposing an author who actually isn't one. Actually, the author of this text is a gifted reader, writing by pure coincidence. |
