Abstract
Cilj ovog istraživanja je ispitati odnos anksioznosti, perfekcionizma i motivacije, pojavu ozljeda te karakteristika profesionalnih nogometaša prve, druge i treće hrvatske nogometne lige. Uzorak je činilo ukupno 200 nogometaša starijih od 18 godina. U svrhu ispitivanja navedenih varijabli, u ovom istraživanju korištena je Revidirana skala težnje perfekcionizmu (Almost Perfect Scale – R; Slaney i sur., 2001), Upitnik natjecateljske anksioznosti (Sport Competition Anxiety Scale – SCAT; Martens, Vealey i Burton, 1990) i Hrvatska verzija Upitnika intrinzične motivacije (Intrinsic Motivation Inventory - Barić i Cvenić, 2014). Dobiveni rezultati ukazuju na pozitivnu povezanost između anksioznosti, neadaptivnog perfekcionizma i negativnih indikatora motivacije te postojanje značajne negativne povezanosti između anksioznosti i adaptivnog perfekcionizma te anksioznosti i pozitivnih indikatora motivacije. Provedbom binarne logističke regresije uočeno je kako je značajni negativni prediktor imanja ozljede pozitivni indikator motivacije - skala Interes. Dodatno je provjeren efekt razine natjecanja na ispitivane varijable te je pronađena statistički značajna razlika između prve i treće lige na subskalama Napor, Visoki standardi i Urednost. Unatoč postojanju određenih ograničenja ovo istraživanje je među prvima provedeno na ovakvom uzorku, a dobiveni rezultati doprinose boljem razumijevanju ispitivanih konstrukata te pružaju nova saznanja za osmišljavanje i kreiranje preventivnih programa u nogometu i sportu općenito.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this study is to examine the relations of anxiety, perfectionism and motivation, number of injuries and characteristics of professional football players in the first, second and third Croatian football league. The sample consisted of 200 football players older than 18 years of age. For the purpose of the stated variables, this research used Almost perfect scale-R (Stanley et al., 2001), Sport Competition Anxiety Scale - SCAT (Martens, Vealey and Burton, 1990), and Croatian version of Intrinsic Motivation Inventory (Barić and Cvenić, 2014). The results show positive relation between anxiety, non-adaptive perfectionism and negative relation between anxiety and adaptive perfectionism, and anxiety and positive indicators of motivation. Implementation of binary logistic regression showed that a significant negative predictor of having an injury is positive motivation indicator – scale Interest. The impact of competition level onto examined variables was additionally checked, and there was statistically significant difference found between the first and third league at subscales Effort, High standards and Tidiness. In spite of the existence of some limits, this research is among the first ones performed on such a sample, and the results achieved contribute to better understanding of the examined variables and give a possibility for easier design and creation of preventive programs in football and sport in general.
