Abstract
Cilj provedenog istraživanja bio je ispitati sklonost korištenju heuristika ovisno o emocionalnom stanju i kognitivnom stilu osobe. U istraživanju je sudjelovala 61 osoba, a istraživanje je provedeno uživo na Filozofskom fakultetu u Osijeku. U istraživanju su sudjelovale tri skupine sudionika koje su se razlikovale po svome emocionalnom stanju. Među njima su dvije bile eksperimentalne (skupina u kojoj je inducirana sreća i skupina u kojoj je inducirana tuga), te kontrolna skupina (emocionalno neutralna). Emocionalno stanje inducirano je pomoću videozapisa iz filma Kralj lavova te dokumentarne serije Lovac na bilje. Emocionalno stanje sudionika procijenjeno je Skalom pozitivnog i negativnog afekta. Sklonost korištenju heuristika provjeravala se pomoću zadataka heuristika dostupnosti, pristranosti vjerovanja u silogističkom zaključivanju te pristranosti potvrđivanja, dok je za procjenu kognitivnog stila sudionika korišten Racionalno-iskustveni inventar. Rezultati pokazuju kako je indukcija emocija pomoću videozapisa uspješno provedena. Ipak, nije utvrđena razlika u sklonosti korištenju heuristika između različitih skupina, kao ni povezanost sklonosti korištenju heuristika i kognitivnog stila sudionika.
Abstract (english)
The aim of the conducted research was to examine the tendency to use heuristics depending on the emotional state and cognitive style. Total of 61 participants took part in this study which was conducted in-person at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek. The participants were divided into three groups, depending on their emotional state. The two groups were experimental (a group with induced happiness and a group with induced sadness). A third group was emotionally neutral. The emotional state was induced using videos from the movie The Lion King and the documentary series The Herb Hunter. The emotional state of the participants was assessed using the Positive and Negative Affect Scale. The tendency to use heuristics was measured using the tasks of availability heuristics, belief bias in syllogistic reasoning and confirmation bias, while the Rational-Experiential Inventory was used to assess the participants' cognitive style. The results show that emotion induction using videos was successfully implemented. However, no difference was found in the tendency to use heuristics between different groups, nor was there a correlation between the tendency to use heuristics and the participants' cognitive style.
