Abstract
Sharing opinions on social networks is a concept that has become part of everyday life. The main goal of this paper is to collect and analyse Donald Trump's Facebook posts in the period between December 9, 2020 and January 6, 2021 and classify them into categories with regard to the content and the intention that these posts seek to achieve. The types of posts and their characteristics were analysed by using the methodology from Enli (2017) through which we classified each post into traditional, non-traditional or mixed post and Hansen (2012), through which the posts were divided into acclaims, attacks, defences or neutral posts. The latter posts were further divided into subcategories. The results show that in the vast majority of his posts Trump attacked the opposing candidates, i.e. most of the posts are of an offensive (attacking) nature, and considering the content of those posts, they are mostly non-traditional posts.
Abstract (croatian)
Dijeljenje mišljenja na društvenim mrežama pojam je koji je postao dio svakodnevice. Glavni cilj ovog rada je prikupiti i analizirati Facebook objave Donalda Trumpa u razdoblju od 9.12.2020. do 6.01.2021. te ih svrstati u kategorije s obzirom na sadržaj i namjeru koju te objave nastoje ostvariti. Vrste objava te njihova obilježja dali su u svojim djelima autori Gunn Sara Enli (2017) pomoću koje smo mogli utvrditi radi li se o tradicionalnoj, netradicionalnoj objavi ili pak miješanoj te Hans V. Hansena (2012) pomoću kojeg smo mogli utvrditi jesu li po namjeri svaka od tih objava klicanje, napad, obrana ili je pak neutralna. Zatim su te iste objave podijeljene u dodatne podkategorije prema Hansenu. Analizom objava zaključeno je kako je Trump u velikoj većini svojih objava najviše napadao protukandidate, tj. većina objava je napadačke prirode te se s obzirom na sadržaj objava radi o uglavnom netradicionalnim objavama.
