Abstract
Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je provjera unutarnje i vanjske valjanost hrvatskog prijevoda Višefaktorskog upitnika rukovođenja (Multifactor leadership questionnaire-MLQ; Avolio i Bass, 2010). U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 515 zaposlenika organizacija različitih djelatnosti. Sudionici su ispunili Višefaktorski upitnik rukovođenja i Upitnik zadovoljstva poslom (Job Descriptive Index, Gregson, 1990). Rezultati su ukazali na dva faktora rukovođenja, a ne tri kao što se očekivalo (Transformacijski, Transakcijski i Pasivno izbjegavajući). Prvi faktor je zasićen većinom čestica transformacijskog i transakcijskog rukovođenja, a drugi svim česticama pasivno izbjegavajućeg rukovođenja. Sukladno očekivanjima, pokazalo se da je transformacijsko rukovođenje najbolji prediktor zadovoljstva mogućnošću napredovanja, zadovoljstva poslom i zadovoljstva nadređenima, a transakcijsko rukovođenje najbolji prediktor zadovoljstva plaćom. Suprotno očekivanjima, transformacijsko rukovođenje nije bilo najbolji prediktor zadovoljstva suradnicima već pasivno izbjegavajuće rukovođenje. U skladu sa početnim pretpostavkama, rezultati su pokazali da transformacijsko rukovođenje najbolje predviđa sva tri ishoda rukovođenja mjerena MLQ-om (Dodatni trud zaposlenih, Percepciju učinkovitosti rukovoditelja te Zadovoljstvo rukovoditeljem).
Abstract (english)
The aim of this study was to examine internal and external validity of Croatian translation of Multifactor leadership questionnaire (MLQ; Avolio & Bass, 2010). Sample consisted of 515 subordinates working in occupationally different organizations. Participants completed Multifactor leadership questionnaire and Job Descriptive Index (Gregson, 1990). The results showed two factors of leadership (Developmental and Passive-avoidant), not three as expected (Transformational, Transactional and Passive-avoidant). First factor was saturated with most of the transformational and transactional items, and second with all passive avoidant items. As expected, results showed that transformational leadership is the best predictor of promotion satisfaction, job satisfaction and supervisor satisfaction, and transactional leadership was the best predictor of pay satisfaction. Contrary to expectation, transformational leadership was not the best predictor of satisfaction with co-workers, but the passive avoidance management. In accordance with the initial assumptions, the results showed that transformational leadership is the best predictor of leadership outcomes measured by MLQ (The extra effort of employees, the perception of the manager’s effectiveness and satisfaction with the leader).
