Abstract
Prošla su istraživanja iz područja psihologije poduzetništva naglasila povezanost poduzetničke namjere s obilježjima poduzetnika, kao i važnost poduzetničke namjere u predviđanju poduzetničkih djelatnosti. Ovim se istraživanjem nastojalo ispitati poduzetničke tendencije, sposobnosti i poduzetničke namjere kod studenata poduzetničkih i nepoduzetničkih usmjerenja te provjeriti povezanost poduzetničkih tendencija i sposobnosti s poduzetničkom namjerom. Rezultati su pokazali statistički značajnu pozitivnu povezanost svih faktora Mjere poduzetničkih tendencija i sposobnosti s poduzetničkim namjerama te da su faktori poduzetna svjesnost, korištenje prilika i želja za napretkom prediktori poduzetničke namjere. Uspoređujući studente poduzetničkih i nepoduzetničkih usmjerenja, utvrđeno je da studenti poduzetničkih usmjerenja postižu statistički značajno više rezultate na faktorima poduzetna svjesnost, korištenje prilika i želja za napretkom te na poduzetničkim namjerama. Ovi rezultati upućuju da je za razvoj poduzetništva općenito važno potaknuti poduzetničku namjeru, što je uvelike moguće kroz obrazovanje i razvoj poduzetničkih kompetencija.
Abstract (english)
Past studies from the field of psychology of entrepreneurship highlighted the relationship between entrepreneurial intentions and characteristics of entrepreneurs as well as the importance of entrepreneurial intention in predicting entrepreneurial activities. This study examined entrepreneurial tendencies, abilities and intentions among students of entrepreneurial and nonentrepreneurial orientation and explored the relationship between entrepreneurial tendencies, abilities and entrepreneurial intention. Results show statistically significant positive correlations between all factors of Measure of Entrepreneurial Tendencies and Abilities and entrepreneurial intentions as well as that following factors: Entrepreneurial awareness, Opportunism and Vision are predictors of entrepreneurial intention. Comparing students of entrepreneurial and nonentrepreneurial orientation, it has been proven that students of entrepreneurial orientation show statistically significant higher results in factors Entrepreneurial awareness, Opportunism and Vision as well as in entrepreneurial intentions. According to results, development of entrepreneurship in general is possible if entrepreneurial intention is initiated, which might be done through education and development of entrepreneurial competencies.
