Abstract
Cilj provedenog istraživanja bio je ispitati hoće li različiti stupanj informiranosti sudionika o lažnim sjećanjima utjecati na izraženost takvih sjećanja. Kako bi se ispitala tema induciranja lažnog sjećanja pomoću Deese-Roediger-McDermott paradigme, konstruirane su liste riječi na hrvatskom jeziku i test prepoznavanja kako bi se dobila hrvatska inačica DRM paradigme. U provedbi predistraživanja sudjelovalo je 105 sudionika. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 201 sudionik koji su bili podijeljeni u 3 skupine s obzirom na upoznatost sa svrhom istraživanja- neinformirana, djelomično informirana i u potpunosti informirana skupina. Korišteno je 9 listi riječi, svaka lista sadržavala je 15 riječi te test prepoznavanja koji se sastojao od ukupno 56 riječi. Rezultati su potvrdili hipotezu kako postoje razlike u izraženosti lažnih sjećanja s obzirom na informiranost sudionika; potpuno informirana skupina imala je najmanje izražena lažna sjećanja za razliku od druge dvije skupine. Rezultati su potvrdili i hipotezu o nepostojanju spolnih razlika u pojavi lažnih sjećanja pomoću DRM paradigme. Nije potvrđena hipoteza o postojanju razlika u točnom prepoznavanju riječi s liste s obzirom na stupanj informiranosti sudionika o načinu induciranja lažnih sjećanja.
Abstract (english)
The aim of the present research was to determine whether different level of awareness about false memories influence their inducement. For the purpose of this study, it was necessary to construct a Croatian version of the Desee-Roediger-McDermott paradigm, which includes 9 word lists and a recognition test. In the pilot study 105 participants were involved in creating the word list stimuli. In the study, 201 participants were split in three experimental groups based on the different level of awareness about the inducement of the false memory effect: the control group (uninformed), partially informed and forewarned group. There were 9 word lists, each list contained 15 words, and one recognition test which contained 56 words. The results confirmed the hypothesis that there are differences in the inducement of false memories considering different level of awareness about inducing the false memory effect. Compared with the uninformed and partially informed subjects, the forewarned subjects had a reduced level of false recognition of critical lures. Furthermore, the results confirmed the third hypothesis that there are no gender differences in inducement of false memories using the DRM paradigm. Second hypothesis, that there would be differences among groups in accurate recognition of words which appeared in the list, was not confirmed.
