Abstract
Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je ispitati povezanost između dimenzija zdravstvenog lokusa kontrole, preventivnih zdravstvenih ponašanja žena i nekih sociodemografskih karakteristika, usmjeravajući se na dva oblika preventivnih ponašanja: pregled grudi i Papa test. Kako bi se ispitao zdravstveni lokus kontrole sudionica korišten je Upitnik za ispitivanje percipiranog izvora kontrole zdravlja (ZLK-90). Također su prikupljeni podaci o sociodemografskim karakteristikama te zdravstvenim ponašanjima. Rezultati ovog istraživanja pokazuju da nema razlike u zdravstvenom lokusu kontrole obzirom na redoviti odlazak na preventivni pregled grudi, dok je razlika pronađena za papa test u smjeru veće eksternalnosti zdravstvenog lokusa kontrole žena koje ne idu redovito na pregled. Ispitivanja povezanosti između zdravstvenog lokusa kontrole, preventivnih pregleda grudi i Papa testa te sociodemografskih varijabli pokazuju značajnu povezanost ovih varijabli. Nije pronađen značajan doprinos zdravstvenog lokusa kontrole u predviđanju redovitih odlazaka na preventivne preglede grudi i Papa testa, dok je doprinos sociodemografskih varijabli potvrđen tek u manjoj mjeri u predviđanju redovitog odlaska na Papa test, i to samo za materijalni status.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this research was to examine the relationship between dimensions of health locus of control, preventive health behaviors of women and some socio-demographic characteristics, focusing on two types of preventive behavior: breast examination and cervical smears. In order to examine the health locus of control it was used a Perceived health locus of control questionnaire (ZLK-90). It was also collected data for socio-demographic characteristics and health behaviors of the participants. Results of this research showed no difference in the health locus of control due to the regular check-ups for brest examination, while the difference was found for cervical smear showing greater externality of health locus of control for women who do not go regularly on check-ups. The correlation between health locus of control, breast examination, cervical smear and sociodemographic variables showed a significant correlation between these variables to some extent. It was not found a significant contribution of health locus of control in predicting breast examinations and cervical smear, while the contribution of demographic variables was confirmed only to a minor extent in predicting regular check-ups for cervical smears, only for socioeconomic status.
