Abstract
In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird das Motiv des Weiblichen analysiert, das Gothe sein ganzes Leben lang beschäftigte. Dabei wir die Ausformulierung und Bedeutung dieses Motivs in und anhand von Goethes Hauptwerk, der Tragödie Faust I und Faust II analysiert. Im ersten Teil der Arbeit wird eine kurze Übersicht über das analytische Instrumentarium von C. G. Jung dargeboten, wonach dann kurz das Werk „Faust“ sowie der Autor vorgestellt. Im zentrale Teil der Arbeit wird die Zugangsweise von Goethe an das Thema des Weiblichen in Hinblick auf das tragische Ende des ersten und des zweiten Teils von Faust erforscht, um danach zu der Schlussfolgerung zu kommen, warum Goethe eben ein solche Vorstellung vom Weiblichen als Grundlage seines Werkes verwendete.
Abstract (croatian)
U radu se analizira motiv ženskog koji je Gothea zaokupljao cijeli život. Prije svega se analizira značenje ovog motiva u i na temelju Goetheova glavnoga djela, tragedija Faust I i Faust II. U prvom dijelu rada daje se kratak pregled analitičkog aparata C. G. Junga, nakon čega se ukratko predstavlja djelo Faust, kao i sam autor. U središnjem dijelu rada istražuje se Goetheov pristup temi ženskog s obzirom na tragični kraj prvog i drugog dijela Fausta, da bi se potom razmotrili razlozi zbog koji je Goethe upotrijebio takvu ideju uzeo kao osnovu svoga životnog djela.
