Abstract
Mali broj istraživanja bavi se objašnjavanjem odnosa kiberohondrije, zdravstvene anksioznosti i kvalitete života, stoga je cilj ovog istraživanja bio ispitati taj odnos. Uzorak se sastojao od 262 punoljetna sudionika. Istraživanje je provedeno internetom, putem Google obrasca, koji je sadržavao Upitnik o sociodemografskim podacima, Upitnik o kvaliteti života Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije, Kratki Inventar zdravstvene anksioznosti te Kratku skalu kiberohondrije. Rezultati istraživanja upućuju na statistički značajnu pozitivnu povezanost kiberohondrije i zdravstvene anksioznosti te statistički značajnu negativnu povezanost kiberohondrije i zdravstvene anksioznosti s domenama kvalitete života. Rezultati t-testa za nezavisne uzorke upućuju na statistički značajnu razliku spolova na skali kiberohondrije i domene fizičkog zdravlja na instrumentu kvalitete života. Medijacijski učinak kiberohondrije pronađen je samo u slučajevima međuodnosa zdravstvene anksioznosti i samoprocjene općeg zdravlja, domene psihičkog zdravlja te domene okoline.
Abstract (english)
A small number of studies focus on explaining the relationship between cyberchondria, health anxiety, and quality of life, so the aim of this study was to investigate that connection. The sample consisted of 262 adult participants. The research was conducted through a Google form, which included a Questionnaire on sociodemographic data, World Health Organization Quality of Life Questionnaire, Brief Health Anxiety Inventory, and Brief Cyberchondria Scale. The results indicate a statistically significant positive correlation between cyberchondria and health anxiety. There was also a statistically significant negative correlation between cyberchondria and health anxiety with domains of quality of life. The independent samples t-test results indicate statistically significant gender difference in the cyberchondria scale and the physical health domain on the quality-of-life instrument. The mediating effect of cyberchondria was found to be statistically significant only in cases of relationship between health anxiety and self-rated general health, the domain of mental health, and the environmental domain.
