Abstract
Nove tehnologije redovito mijenjaju ljudsku komunikaciju, tehničke značajke i promijenjeni komunikacijski kontekst utječe na jezični diskurz sudionika. U ovome se radu opisuju i proučavaju obilježja komunikacije i načini ostvarivanja uljudnosti u novim medijima. Navode se teorijske misli o komunikaciji, njezinim obilježjima te načelu suradnje i uljudnosti. Uz određene teorijske spoznaje, proučavaju se i tumače prikupljene elektroničke i SMS-poruke. Analizirajući primjere, u radu će se nastojati odgovoriti na pitanje pridržavaju li se sudionici komunikacije u novim medijima komunikacijskih normi i načela, ponajprije načela uljudnosti. Kako ostvaruju uljudnost i koliko novi oblici tehnologije utječu na jezik proučavat će se na trima razinama: ortografskoj, gramatičkoj i leksičkoj.
