Abstract
Cilj ovog rada bio je provjeriti utjecaj roditeljskih odgojnih modela na školski uspjeh učenika. Istraživanje je provedeno na uzorku od 95 ispitanika oba spola, učenika drugih i trećih razreda srednje škole na području grada Osijeka, a primijenjen je upitnik koji mjeri roditeljske odgojne modele na razini kontrole i topline. Značajniji prediktori boljega školskog uspjeha su uvjetovani dvjema roditeljskim dimenzijama: roditeljskom kontrolom i toplinom. Provedeno istraživanje ukazuje na to da učinci roditeljske odgovarajuće kontrole i topline rezultiraju boljim školskim uspjehom učenika.
