The aim of this research was to explore the anxiety levels in primagravida, multigravida with previous normal pregnancy and primagravida with previous pathological pregnancy. It was assumed that the highest levels of anxiety would be in multigravida with previous pathological pregnancy, moderate levels in primagravida and lowest levels in multigravida with previous normal pregnancy. Level of anxiety was also explored regarding to age, to be exact in younger pregnant women (younger than 30 years of age) and in older pregnant women (older than 30 years of age). Assumption was that anxiety levels would be higher in older pregnant women than in younger pregnant women. Also level of anxiety was explored regarding to stage of pregnancy, to be exact first, second and third trimester. It was assumed that the highest level of anxiety would be in pregnant women in first trimester, moderate level of anxiety in third trimester and the lowest level of anxiety in second trimester. The research involved 117 pregnant women who volounteered to fill up the Questionnaire over the internet. Questionnaire was composed of Socialdemographic questionnnaire, Endlers multidimensional anxiety scale - state (EMAS-S) and Endlers multidimensional anxiety scale - trait (EMAS-T). The results were obtained by parametric's t-test and ANOVA, and nonparametric's Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal-Wallis test. Results did not confirm any of the hypotheses.
