Abstract
Ovaj rad pokušava dati obuhvatan pregled teorija povijesti iz postmoderne perspektive. Pod naslovom Postmoderne teorije povijesti razmatraju se ideje različitih mislioca o tome kako je povijesti došao kraj. Svima njima prethodi razumijevanje povijesti vezano uz dovršeni filozofski sustav u Hegelovoj filozofiji apsolutnog duha. Tek u postmodernom dobu postala je izrazito zanimljiva tematika različitih "krajeva". Zajednički naziv za te različite najave kraja jest endizam. Svim postmodernističkim viđenjima kraja povijesti (Fukuyama, Lyotard, Baudrilard) suprotstavljen je jedan mislilac koji je oduvijek bio skeptičan prema takvim govorima, nazivajući ih "apokaliptičnim tonom u filozofiji" – Jacques Derrida. Iz interpretacije njegove filozofske pozicije (S. Sim), zaključno, ne može se govoriti o kraju povijesti kao takve, već eventualno o kraju određene koncepcije povijesti.
